ABOUT

Born into a theatrical family, Viki was taught her first steps by her mother and aunt's dance school, The "Barrett Smith School of Dance", and before she knew it, she was on stage singing and dancing.

Viki continued to study all forms of Dance from an early age including Tap, Ballet, Modern, Greek National, and Song & Dance.  Holding titles from the All England Dance Competitions, Ruby Ginner Winner, Gold Star Tap Awards, and Finalist for Miss Dance UK, she performed as a juvenile in many professional productions including plays, Pantomimes and Royal Galas.

After completing final qualifications exams in Dance and Drama at the Anne Gale School of Dance, Viki was fortunate to be surrounded by multiple opportunities which have taken her around the world.  She left England at the age of 17 to tour the world singing and dancing in a succession of cabaret appearances. She then founded, choreographed and performed in her own Touring Dance Company “BBoss Dancers”,  for one of the largest Cabaret Clubs in Asia.  Her colourful professional career allowed her to travel the world several times over enjoying varied experiences in Cabaret, TV, Commercials, Musical Theatre, and Modelling.   Later singing with several American R&B and Top 40 bands, as well as a session vocalist.  Eleven countries later, Viki returned to London and joined the West End hit Copacabana.

After a successful tour with Copacabana, Viki signed to V2 Records worldwide as a Recording Artist with the Female Group "Madasun", releasing an album and touring internationally.  Madasun achieved platinum sales in Australia, and chart success in the UK with 3 singles: "Don’t You Worry", "Walking On Water" and "Feel Good".

In 2001, Viki was ready to put down some roots and start a new adventure, and The PopWorkShop was born. Her idea of a Dance and Singing School with the philosophy to inspire and teach children all she had learnt from her time in the industry, by making performances magical, exciting, and fun, creating the opportunity for children to feel amazing.  The school continues to this day with her name as a founder and still has an active role.

Viki has always had a passion for Classic Jazz throughout her career, and over the years, has perfected her craft vocally to become a seasoned jazz singer.  Viki enjoys delighting audiences with exciting renditions of jazz standards from the golden era.
